9 cm mixer 9cm 1 watt amplifier
Equipment in use on 9cm.
Two meter I.F. Homemade transverter, using a sub harmonic mixer for both tx and rx. The output from the mixer is fed into a DK2DB amplifier incorporating a MGF1502> MGF1502 > BFG91a >BFG91a the 200mw fom this amplifier drives a BFG91a > 2 X BFG91a > 4 X BFG91a producing an output of 800mw. The RF stages are from a DC0DA design using MGF1402 and a MGF1302. The feeder is Cellflex LCF 450 to a DK1UV "Ridge guide" horn in front of a 0.6m dish.
The final PA stage has recently been replaced with a TWT to give 20 watts output.
